Marc Lancaster:

Exploratory arthroscopic surgery on Paul Wilson’s shoulder today revealed a partially torn labrum and a partially torn rotator cuff, both of which were repaired by Dr. Tim Kremchek.

Sounds like it will be four months before Wilson can begin throwing again.

It’s safe to say that Wilson is done for the season. Bad news for him, but the Reds will benefit from Brandon Claussen having that rotation spot all year.

I wonder if Wilson and the Reds still contend that he isn’t hurt?

Chris, you and I talked about this. I wonder how much he hurt himself trying to gut it out.
