The DDN covers last night’s Dragon’s extra innings win. (They were within one strike of ending it in regulation.)
News on 2nd round pick B.J. Szymanski:
Outfielder B. J. Szymanski continued to have soreness in his right knee and went for an MRI in the afternoon. Results were not immediately available.
Szymanski, the Reds’ second-round draft pick last summer, played in the opening four-game series at South Bend and was in the lineup for the home opener Tuesday when his knee began to bother him. It wasn’t any better Wednesday, prompting the MRI.
